Leadership team
Dr. Noelle Ibrahim is a quantum, AI, and financial-services leader with over 25 years of experience developing advanced algorithms and translating them into enterprise strategy, commercial offerings, and measurable business outcomes. She founded Global Business Algorithms to commercialize patent-pending, near-term-deployable cost-reduction methods for quantum algorithms, alongside modular quantum readiness offerings for government and enterprise clients. Previously, she helped build IBM Quantum’s financial-services practice globally, co-shaped IBM’s Canadian quantum banking strategy, led executive quantum roadmaps for global banks, and contributed to building and delivering a multi-million-dollar book of quantum consulting and technology business. Her work has helped enterprises prepare from high-level quantum strategy to hands-on proof-of-concept development and practical adoption pathways. She combines C-suite advisory, go-to-market execution, and deep technical algorithm design across quantum-classical machine learning, derivatives pricing, optimization, risk modelling, and enterprise analytics. Dr. Ibrahim is an inventor on granted and provisional quantum-classical machine learning patents and a published author in quantum machine learning, derivatives pricing, and optimization. She holds a PhD in Applied Physics / Quantum Electronics from Columbia University, where she developed quantum Monte Carlo methods for computational modelling, as well as an MSc in Physics focused on Quantum Optics and Condensed Matter from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Physics from the University of British Columbia.
